Overall, they're playing well...just can't finish to save their lives. Annoying, but better than the Canadian trip |

Has Couturier ever scored from one of his wicked wristers when he gets the pass standing still in the slot? It seems like he has 3-5 of those shots a game |

The Philadelphia Flyers have roundly rejected scoring goals this season. |

Thought it was a good effort, against a very good team, except for the beginning of the first.
Did not like the call against schultz or simmonds at the end
voracek needs to bury that chance

So sick of hearing how well they played and deserved a better fate. Bottom line is they lost, they stink. Is this what us Philly fans are accepting now? Effort but lose? Everyone on this team should be available for trade...especially Giroux! So overrated!

they are a bad team this year
best you can hope for is a good effort every night and maybe some progression from the younger guys
won't comment on your giroux statement |

Giroux makes 8.5 million never scored 30 goals in a season and is no where to be found in 5 on 5 hockey. Lives by the power play. Makes no one on his line better. Horrible captain. Remember when he hit Crosby & scored that goal in playoffs.... Yea that was 5 years ago |

Gudas is playing very well lately. The hustle he showed after getting out of the Pentaly box to get the puck was awesome. Haven't seen much of that. I think Hakstol needs to tll the team to be themselves. Everyone is too worried about getting benched if the make a mistake, so they are playing uptight. I also believe it time to change the lines around. As much as they won't admit it, Couturier is their shut down center, and will not be a second line centermen. I think they need to move Schenn back to that spot for the time being. Also, i think Luke Schenn is playinng his a$$ off this season. He is definitely uping his trade value. I do believe during the season we trade streit while he still has value, Read, Both Schenns and possiby even Simmonds. Lines i would love to see.
Leier Giroux Voracek
Gagner Schenn Simmonds
Raffl Couturier Read
Laughton Bellemare Vandevelde
Del Zotto Gudas
Gostisbehere Manning
Schultz Schenn |

over all it was a good game with a bad break....my pet peeve is missing the net with your shot....i understand they get deflected and tipped but i am talking about the shots that down right miss....these guys get paid alot of money to play hockey...and the skill level they are supposed to have, well they shouldn't be missing the net...but just my pet peeve |

My pet peeve is watching very boring hockey. The top line is the ONLY scoring threat we have( and they rarely score even strength). The 4th line is by far the hardest working and you can clearly see their effort . Couturier is a 3rd line centre IMO and I think they should give PEB a spot on that pathetic 2nd PP. |

Over the past six NHL seasons, name the players who have more points than Giroux.
Oh that's right, none of them. |

Is this an actual comment or a synopsis of every "angry fan" call to talk radio? As the latter, it's pretty good. However, you forgot to threaten to stop watching, say how indifferent the players and then to propose some completely unrealistic trade the team would pull off it was only run by competent people. |

Finally, the Flyers yielded a 2-on-1 rush as Gagner took an ill-advised route behind the net with the puck already about to be moved up the ice from the other side.
That was an unbelievably bad decision by Gagner. There was no chance whatsoever of him getting to the puck there. |
